dr. K. Stamoulis (Konstantinos)
Lector Aviation EngineeringKonstantinos Stamoulis is sinds 2020 lector Aviation Engineering aan de Hogeschool van Amsterdam. Zijn aandachtsgebieden zijn onder meer composieten en geavanceerde materiaaltechniek, nieuwe inspectie- en reparatietechnologieën, faalanalyse en data-analyse in Aviation Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO).
Stamoulis volgde een opleiding tot luchtvaartingenieur, met specialisaties in Toegepaste Mechanica (Nationale Technische Universiteit van Athene), en Materials Science and Engineering (MIT). In 2008 rondde hij zijn promotieonderzoek over vermoeidheid van micromechanische systemen af, een project aan de Universiteit van Thessalië (UTH). Stamoulis is betrokken bij onderwijs en onderzoek in verschillende academische programma's en werkte eerder als onderzoeksassistent bij het Technology Laboratory for Advanced Materials and Structures (MIT) en het Laboratory for Strength of Materials and Micromechanics (UTH).
De lector was ook senior officier bij de Griekse luchtmacht (HAF), waar hij van 1993 tot 2018 verschillende technische en operationele functies bekleedde in onderhoud en engineering. Van 2011 tot 2011 was hij directeur engineering en industrieel ontwerp bij het Air Force Aircraft Depot.
Stamoulis vervult naast zijn lectorchap aan de HvA de volgende rollen:
