dhr. dr G. Ferri (Gabriele)
OnderzoekerGabriele Ferri is a design methodology researcher. Combining his interests in playful and ubiquitous interactions, design futuring, and location-based experiences, he focuses on the use of urban games as design tools to empower minorities. Current research interests include critical and speculative uses of game design, qualitative methodologies for interaction design, pervasive interactions between media, public spaces, and citizens, and participatory workshops for creative futuring. He recently co-edited the volume “Interactive Digital Narratives: History, Theory and Practice” for Routledge. He holds a PhD in Semiotics (Istituto Italiano di Scienze Umane; Università di Bologna, Italy) with an interest in the qualitative analysis of Human-Computer Interaction.
