onderzoeker lectoraat Digital Life

Nazli Cila is a researcher at the Digital Life Centre. She obtained her PhD degree from Delft University of Technology Department of Industrial Design, working on the topic of how designers can create effective and aesthetic metaphors to communicate with users through the products. She then continued her work as a post-doctoral researcher at the same department, where she focused her research on means to employ objects as co-ethographers in design research process with applications to Internet of Things and social sensing.

Currently, her research combines design anthropology and data-driven design, in which she aims to better understand people and offer design solutions for improving their well being through the use of data, networked objects, and citizen science.
