Sport Studies-track ISMB

A Bachelor’s degree provides a good basis for further study. The options depend on which Master’s degree programme you want to do and at which university. With a degree from Sport Studies - track ISMB you have several transfer options to research-oriented higher education.

Admission criteria master's degree

Check the information provided by the university of your choice about the criteria for admission to their Master's programmes and about any additional requirements for graduates of specific Bachelor's programmes. A pre-master may be required for Bachelor's graduates of universities of applied sciences who want to do a Master's degree at a research university.

Arrangements selected universities

Sport Studies - track ISMB has made arrangements with a number of universities. As a result, you can attend modules at a university during or immediately following your studies. This gives you the opportunity to begin your Master’s degree sooner after your studies. In practice, this means that you can gain a Sport Studies Bachelor’s degree and a university Master’s degree in 5 to 6 years.

Overview Master's programmes

A degree from Sport Studies - track ISMB offers you the opportunity to access to different Master’s programmes in the Netherlands and abroad:

  • Business Administration, University of Amsterdam (English)
    Possible occupations: management consultant, strategic analyst, account, product or marketing manager.
  • Sports Policy and Sports Management, Utrecht University (Dutch)
    Possible occupations: policy officer, project coordinator or association manager at local authorities, unions, consultancies, umbrella organisations and other sports or sports support organisations. You can also work as a researcher at a research agency or university.
  • Communication Science, University of Amsterdam (Dutch)
    Possible occupations: media planner, journalist, advertising strategist, communications officer or information officer.
  • Human Movement Sciences, VU University Amsterdam (Dutch)
    Possible occupations: researcher, adviser/policy officer, psychomotor therapist, exercise physiologist or ergonomist affiliated to an organisation.
  • Sports Management and Business Administration, Temple University, Philadelphia, United States (English)
    Possible occupations: management consultant, strategic analyst, account, product or marketing manager.
  • Institute for Sport Business ISB (English), Loughborough University, United Kingdom. Tracks: MSc Sport Business & Innovation, MSc Sport Business & Leadership and MSc Sport Digital & Media Technologies.
