International Business

Please note that because of the coronavirus we are compelled to shift to a complete virtual study check.

Unfortunately, it’s no longer possible to enrol for the 2020-2021 academic year. The application deadline was 1 June 2020. Are you still interested in this degree programme? Enrolment for the 2021-2022 academic year opens on 1 October 2020.

The study check is a mandatory part of the enrolment procedure for applicants with a Dutch secondary school diploma. Visit study check for information on the regulations and exceptions that apply.

How do I participate in the study check?

Check the application deadline, then apply for the International Business programme via Studielink. Within 48 hours you will receive an email confirmation. In the confirmation email you will find information about how to participate in the study check. sign up procedure.

If you have submitted an application via Studielink but do not see an invitation in your inbox, check your spam folder. Sometimes emails from AUAS will end up there.

What does the study check for the International Business degree programme consist of?

1. Online assessment to be completed at home

The online assessment will introduce you to important subjects within the International Business degree programme. This will help you to ascertain whether this is the best degree programme for you. The online assessment includes video clips, tests and a questionnaire on coaching and student counselling.

If you do not complete the online assessment before the deadline, you cannot attend the online follow-up activity and cannot start the programme in September. Keep in mind that the online assessment takes about 4 hours to complete.

2. Virtual study check day

If you have completed the online assessment before the deadline, you are welcome to attend the virtual study check day. During the virtual study check day you will join our virtual classroom to:

  1. Get to know each other
  2. Follow a lecture that introduces you to Mathematics and Statistics by Mr Jesse Blits
  3. Participate in a live Q&A chat session to have your questions answered
  4. Work in groups on the homework assigment
  5. Receive information about your next steps

The session will start at 14.00 hours and will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes in total.

We highly advise you to join the virtual study check day as it will give you an even better impression of the degree programme.

Study choice advice

When you have completed the online assessment before the deadline, you will receive the official study choice advice by email.

The study choice advice is based on the results of the tests in the online assessment.
