Workshop Voguing

Queer dance lesson by Dizzy and Gaby Vineyard

Evenement

Are you “so into voguing right now”? This is your chance! FLOOR and HvA Pride teamed up to organize a workshop Vogue Fem.

Within this dance workshop Dizzy and Gaby Vineyard will lead an introduction into the history of ballroom and how the Vogue Fem category came to its present existence. After the warm up, we walk to the dance studio at CREA and get our bodies moving into the basic elements that are required to build up a performance that is 10’s across the board worthy!

Gaby Vineyard

Dizzy Vineyard

“Dizzy Vineyard, The Prince of The House of Vineyard is a voguer and a performance artist. They have been a part of the Dutch Ballroom Scene for over 7 years. The main and strongest category that Dizzy practices within the realm of ballroom is the Vogue Fem category. With being able to express both their masculine & feminine energies they can call ballroom a second home.”

Gaby Vineyard

"Gaby Vineyard was born and raised in the heart of Amsterdam. She is 23 years old and of Surinamese and Chilean descent. Around 2014/2015, Gaby fell in love with ballroom through clips she saw on YouTube of this culture. A few months later, she walked her first ball and joined the House of Vineyard, the first house in the Netherlands. Gaby has since become the princess of the house due to her motivation and love for ballroom, and of course, all the grand prizes she has won."
