Koen van Dijk is a (pediatric) occupational therapist and lecturer at the Occupational Therapy Department of the Amsterdam School of Higher professional Education (Hogeschool van Amsterdam) in the Netherlands.

He graduated in 1999 as an occupational therapist (BSc OT) at the Occupational Therapy Department of the Amsterdam School of Higher professional Education (Hogeschool van Amsterdam) in the Netherlands, and finished his European Master of Science in Occupation Therapy in 2007 at the Occupational Therapy Department of the Amsterdam School of Higher professional Education (Hogeschool van Amsterdam). He has been working as an occupational therapist with adults and children (from 2001 until 2010).

He has been teaching in several Eastern European countries for ENOTHE and other NGOs since 2002 in pediatric occupational therapy with a focus on Cerebral palsy.

His expertise is in the area of occupational therapy assessment validation and research (School-AMPS), pediatric rehabilitation. Currently he is focusing on teaching and practice within the Occupation Therapy Department at the Amsterdam School of Higher professional Education (Hogeschool van Amsterdam) in the Netherlands.
