Reports on international DEM coursesReports on international DEM courses
On Saturday, 17 December, Dutch daily De Telegraaf reported on alleged cases of ‘diploma fraud’ with courses at the HvA. Later that day, these reports were picked up by various other media.
The Executive Board (Dutch: CvB) and the management of the School of Economics & Management understand that these reports have led to questions and concerns among students and teachers at the school. They will therefore be happy to provide an explanation.
The CvB does not recognize the accusations put forward in De Telegraaf. At present, there is no evidence whatsoever of diploma fraud. Following previous events at Hogeschool InHolland, the HvA has carried out an internal investigation into matters including dissertations. No cases of diploma fraud were revealed by this investigation. Neither has the CvB of the HvA received any previous signals from teachers or students concerning diploma fraud.
