Join on a five days PR crash course in gorgeous Georgia from 21-25 May 2018 (+ week-ends). Selected lecturers and students from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and the International Black Sea University help you broaden your horizon outside the regular curriculum. Get hands-on PR knowledge from practitioners and add an ISBN to your CV.
Take part in social and cultural events around the fascinating city of Tbilisi. The spectacular nature and pretty monuments, Georgia’s fine food, top wines and the local moderate prices make Tbilisi an attractive choice. Join us, and make new friends from around the globe!
Get hands-on PR knowledge from practitioners, instead of just theory. Listen to upbeat PR lessons, following the dictum: “work hard, play hard!”. Analyse and categorise the Georgian media marketplace. Provide relevant information to PR-pro’s and learn the foundations of research in PR. And develop skills to work in mixed nationality teams.
Previous visits to Georgia scored very high evaluations.
Join a seasoned lecturer who wrote some eighty books, and frequently speaks around the world. Co-author yourself in a media guide on your own name. Listen to upbeat lessons, following the dictum: ‘work hard, play hard!’
As a class we will research and produce an updated version of Georgia’s media guide. You will do research and conduct interviews with journalists, while working in a team with Georgian students. Already in June you can add a publication on your CV.

If you are a student from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and you want to get the credit count:
- If you would like this Spring School to be added as an extra curricular course to your Bachelor Diploma, please apply to the examination board beforehand;
- If you are an honours student you need to ask permission from the honours programme coordinator (Mrs Irena van Nynatten-Janikowska, email: firstname.lastname@example.org). If you are permitted to follow this course as an honours programme by the honours coordinator, participation to the Spring School will grant you 5 EC. This consists of 3 EC as part of the regular Spring School programme and 2 additional EC if an extra assignment outside the Spring School week is completed satisfactorily.
