Micha Keijer joined the International Business School (IBS) in 2006. He currently teaches Current Issues in Finance (CIF) and Corporate Finance 2 (CO2).
Besides teaching at IBS, Mr. Keijer has ‘exported’ the CIF course to China. At the South Western University for Finance and Economics he teaches a 2 week compressed version of the AUAS finance course.
His teaching at the IBS has not been without merit, in 2013 he was the runner up for the ‘best lecturer of the year’ award, while in 2014 Mr. Keijer was awarded ‘best lecturer’ of the Economics and Management faculty.
Before joining the International Business School, Mr. Keijer worked as a senior policy advisor at Dutch Central Bank (De Nederlandsche Bank). Prior to that he worked at Ernst&Young and MeesPieson. Mr.Keijer has studied Economics (M.A.) and Comparative Religious Studies. He specialised in Monetary Economics and Finance.
His Ph.D. is within the realm of stratification sociology, focusing on adolescent expectations.
