Teacher Training weeks at the AUAS for the REFINE Project

From 1-12 april 24 guests will follow training and workshops at the FMB. These 24 guests are all lecturers from universities in Armenia and Moldova. The aim of REFINE is to renew the Master Programmes in Finance in universities from Moldova and Armenia, two countries which need renewal of their eduction in order to be able to keep their young people from leaving the country and provide them with relevant programmes, liaising with the work field.
Training and workshops
The training weeks are to prepare the lecturers from these Higher Education Institutes in the best possible way for teaching in their reformed MA programmes. The workshops will be about the application of new and interactive teaching methods, but also offer selected topics in Finance which shape the current international trends in the subject area.
The training is offered by workshop leaders from our own faculty, lector Frank Jan de Graaf (CAREM) and lecturers Jalal Mrabti (AMSIB) and Gert de Jong (BE) as well as from workshop leaders from the other EU partner institutes, Technical University of Košice, Slovakia, University of Applied Sciences Bfi Vienna, Austria, University Nice Sophia Antipolis, France.
The project is coordinated by the International Centre (contacts: Margit Varga – Head IC, Bernard Smeenk – project leader, Lottelinde Janmaat – organising support).
Meet & greet the guests
Every day between 12.00-13.30 our guests are free to go to lunch. If you would like to meet and greet them you are very welcome. The 3.029 room at the Fraijlemaborg will be their home for the next weeks.
